Stripes are the New Black: A few tips on how to pull them off!
Let’s Chat:
I can’t seem to stay away from stripes lately. It doesn’t matter if they’re vertical, horizontal, big or small I’m into it. They’re a fail-safe style choice for the summertime & look not only classic but super chic in my opinion.
Fashion FYI: Bold stripes are going to be extremely popular this fall & are already all over social media.
A Few Tips:
Try horizontal stripes if you want to make your bust look more voluptuous or hips a bit more curvy.
Go for vertical stripes if you want to lengthen your frame and appear leaner.
Off the shoulder tops & dresses are very flattering silhouettes for stripes.
Don’t be afraid to mix it up, stripes with gingham, plaid or floral prints are all a win in the style department right now so experiment & have fun with it!

I hope this list is helpful! I really do love a good sale!
Hello my darlings! I’m finally starting to get back into the swing of things after a very hard month personally & I’m really looking forward to a quick getaway to San Diego with the husband. My upcoming travels got me thinking about summer outfits that are super easy to throw on & go. I love walking around when I’m on vacation & I don’t like feeling uncomfortable in my clothes or shoes, so I tend to stick to classic items ( a hat, jean jacket, crossbody bag etc.) that I know will work. Just amp it up a bit with cool accessories. This look is fun & functional at the same time.
As I mentioned in my recent budget friendly Summer Style Post,a maxi dress is my #1 summer staple. I’m pretty sure I own as many maxi dresses as I do jeans (which is my absolute favorite fashion piece to style,) so trust me when I say it’s “true love.” The blue & neutral tones of this outfit are the perfect color palette for a summer style win. What’s one thing you wear consistently in the summer, that is a go to, must have etc…leave a comment below!
Hello my lovelies, I’m so sorry I’ve been gone for so long but I’m back now & ready to share my next beauty post with you!
Yay!
I’m always on the hunt for the next fantastic palette & when Becca Cosmetics partnered with the fabulous (and hilarious,) Chrissy Teigen, I knew I wasn’t going to be let down. This collaboration is especially good. The formula of each product is buttery soft & blends out seamlessly. You don’t need much on your brush to get high impact.
Details:
This palette is a (4) pan, rose colored, peach marbled beauty. The mirror inside is pretty awesome for applying makeup & the palette itself is very sturdy yet compact (making it super travel friendly.)
There are (2) Pressed Highlighters, (1) Luminous Blush & (1) Sunlit Bronzer. You can mix & match the colors too & create your own signature shade. They also look gorgeous on the eyes.
With the warm weather & sunny days, this palette is perfection for adding that “summertime glow” to your skin.
Tip: Try dusting the highlighter along your collarbones & the top of your shoulders for extra glow.
Rose Gold -highlighter- touched with a hint of pink & lots of bronze reflect that gives the high points of your cheekbones a rosy glow.
Hibiscus Bloom – luminous blush- it looks brighter in the pan then on your skin. You can easily go in with a soft application or build the golden coral up for a flushed look.
Beach Nectar –highlighter- Peach toned with golden reflects. This is the most intense color of the bunch. A little goes a very long way so proceed with caution, unless you want to look like you belong on top of a glamorous unicorn. Which I’m all for! More is more.
Malibu Soleil -bronzer- medium bronze that evokes a beautiful tan with a slight sheen.
Don’t these swatches make you want to sit poolside with a giant umbrella drink & just glow?
Keep in mind, this palette is limited addition so if you’ve been on the fence, I say go for it!
